What will your Thanksgiving look like? Are you hosting? Do you have a “signature” dish? Or do you stick with traditional favorites like I do?
Oh my! I’m hungry for your Thanksgiving feast! And … hoping you’ll share your recipes! ;D
Please do share the recipes! We’re having Thanksgiving dinner this Saturday with my husband’s family and I may need a few of those caramel apple cocktails when we get home! LOL!
Oh my. I’m not sure a cocktail will do. You may need to hit the hard stuff ;)
You can’t throw that stuff out there without recipes!
I hope to get some pictures and post some recipes soon!
Since we’ll be eating with you I guess we’ll take what we get. Along with the organic turkey who’s had a easy livin’ stress free life til now! Too bad people have to cut it’s life short just to satisfy an organic mind.
So glad you posted…I was just on the hunt for ideas!
We are going to my In-laws and are providing 2 turkeys that we raised ourselves.
I have been looking for something else to make and I think Deviled eggs is perfect idea (we raise chickens, too so eggs are plentiful).
Definitely give us the scoop on that Caramel Apple Cocktail.
I have never hosted a holiday dinner. I have also never been asked to contribute to the sides. I bring appetizers. Mean Green Dip (Big Mama’s Mississippi Sin Dip renamed) is a staple. This year I’ll be trying some new things from Pinterest. Your menu sounds delicious.
First: how the heck did you get to be so lucky?!
Second: do tell what you’re trying from Pinterest. A blog post maybe? Kind of like a “I didn’t just *pin* it, I did it” post.
um, recipes please! Especially the cocktail and cranberry sauce.
Yum….sounds delish! We are traveling to NJ for the holiday with Matt’s family. Last year was my first year to host and I did the basics, but I would have to say that my Me-Maw’s pea casserole was always a staple growing up. I am not a big pea fan, but this casserole had Thanksgiving written all over it for me growing up. I’ve made it a few times since her passing, but it just isn’t the same….and Thanksgiving sadly doesn’t taste the same without it!
Happy Turkey Day! Can’t wait to hear all about it and hopefully see pictures and recipes, too!
That is QUITE the menu.
Since Tim & I are related to almost all of Southern Arizona (ha!), we usually end up attending other functions. This year, we brought Apple Crisp to one event and New York Cheesecake to another.
