  • 1 750 ml bottle sparkling white wine
  • 8 teaspoons silver tequila
  • 8 teaspoons elderflower liqueur
  • 1/3 cup freshly-squeezed blood orange juice
  • 1 blood orange, thinly-sliced for garnish (optional)


  1. Place an optional blood orange slice in each of four champagne flutes.
  2. Pour 2 teaspoons of tequila into a champagne flute. Repeat for remaining three champagne flutes.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of elderflower liqueur to each champagne flute.
  4. Equally divide blood orange juice between champagne flutes. There should be just slightly under 4 teaspoons of juice for each flute.
  5. Pour sparkling wine into each flute, allowing the bubbles to settle between pours. Fill to the rim of each glass.
