Smile It Forward with Invisalign

My Cassie girl celebrated a birthday a couple of weeks ago.  On her birthday, I posted this photo of her on Facebook.

Can you read what one of my dearest friends said in her comment?  She said,

“Ah, I love that beautiful smile.  It’s contagious.”

She’s right.  Cassie’s smile is pretty darn contagious.  Smiles tend to be, don’t you think?

This little girl with the beautiful, contagious smile has several favorite things.  She loves pizza.  And Doc McStuffins.  She loves ice cream and movies and hugs.  Quite possibly more than all of those things, though, she loves birthdays.  Given her love of birthdays, we tend to do ’em up big around here.  Earlier this year, Cassie’s paraprofessional (school helper), Mrs. D, celebrated a milestone birthday.  Her fiftieth, in fact.  A lady after my own heart, Mrs. D has a love of all things Disney.  And so she–quite fittingly–opted to celebrate her 50th birthday at Disneyland.  If you know anything about me, you know that this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.  We simply had to do something extra special for Mrs. D’s Disney celebration.

We baked cookies–the cutest little Mickey and Minnie heads you ever did see.  We packaged each one individually and tied them with twine.  We placed them in a box and spelled out a Disney-fied “Happy Birthday.”  To finish it off, we tucked in a Disney gift card and delivered the whole thing in person.

Her reaction?  Priceless.

There really was no mistaking how touched she was; her smile went from one ear clear to the other.  Indeed her smile, like that of my Cassie girl, was truly contagious.

In the interest of “Smiling it forward,” Invisalign is offering the chance to win two $500 gift cards–one to keep and one to give away.  Enter by December 18th!  Invisalign offers the clear alternative to metal braces for straightening teeth.  If you think you or your child may be a good candidate for treatment, take the smile assessment today.
